It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Wilbert Nicholas of Salem, West Virginia, who passed away on November 24, 2023, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Clavious and Levada Elizabeth Perine Nicholas; his children, Lenita Dean Nicholas and Kyle Damon Nicholas; his grandchildren, Shaun Christopher Ash and Ryan Eric Merryman; his siblings, Billy Joe Nicholas, Clavis "Stoke" Nicholas, Junior Perine and Willadene Nicholas McAtee; and his stepfather John Herman Snider.
He is survived by: his daughters, Sherry Ash (Jeffrey), Tracey Merryman (Arnold "Wayne") and Corrina "Poochie" Roach (Richard); his grandchildren, Scott Nicholas, Jason Nicholas, Heather Wolfe (Todd), Jeremy Nicholas (Becky), Christie Garza (Pete), Valerie Littles (Dalton), April Swentzel (Jason), William "Billy" Ash, Bethany Merryman and Austin Merryman (Adrianna Wright); his brother Arnett Lee Nicholas; and his wife Mary Elizabeth Lynch Nicholas. He is also survived by fourteen great grandchildren.
