He is survived by: his son Christoper Dale Phipps (Laura Elizabeth Lester); his grandchildren, Caleb Dale Phipps (Joe), Jacob Phipps and Hannah Phipps; his siblings, Doug (Patti), Darrell (Debbie), John Phipps, Gary (Diana), Jeff Phipps, Michael (Robin), Sharon Russell (Bob), Mary Phipps, Marty Phipps and Brenda Phipps; and his nieces and nephews, Beth, Jason, Juanita, Keith, Ryan, Heather, Steven, Stephanie, Katie, Jeannie and Jenny.
A reception was held on Saturday, May 3rd 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Glen View Independent Baptist Church (1250 Glenview Rd, Crab Orchard, WV 25827).
