She was predeceased by: her parents, Wade Hampton and Josephine "Faust" Kerns (Casto); her husband Robert Waskey; her siblings, Paul, Dale Kerns, Louise Longanacre, Erma Myers and Linda Johnson; and her sons-in-law, Gary Cooper and Everett Long.
She is survived by: her children, Wendell Waskey (Joyce), Carolyn Cooper and Nancy Long; her brothers, Creel, Keith, Richard and Roy Kerns; and her grandchildren, Allison, Bethany, Krista and Robert. She is also survived by 7 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Waybright Funeral Home (511 S Church St, Ripley, WV 25271). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
