He was predeceased by: his parents, Lundy Ford and Edith Thompson Ford; and his siblings, Patricia Mooney and Robert Ford. He is survived by: his wife Caroleigh Rinehart Ford; his children, Tammy Anglin of Charleston, WV, David Ford, Jr. of Durham, NC and Scott Ford (Tanya) of Oak Hill; his grandchildren, Charles Painter, Daniel Painter, Michael Painter, Dakota Miller, Blake Ford, Brooke Ford, Chelsey and Fisher Ford; and his sister Deloris Hall. He is also survived by numerous great grandchildren.
