He is survived by: his wife Dru Vannatter; his children, Charles Vannatter, Jr., Angela Byrnside (Leslie), Thomas Vannatter (Kerry) and Stefany Kitchen (Mat); his sister Patricia Stewart; his grandchildren, Anthony Byrnside (Jessica), Erica Keefer (Paul), Christian Vannatter, Drusilla Kitchen, Lewis Kitchen, Alexandra Kitchen, Aaron Kitchen and Jessyka Andrews (Javon); and his great grandchildren, Savannah Byrnside, Luke Byrnside, Abigail Byrnside, Brielle Andrews and Lincoln Andrews.
A reception will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Teays Valley Church of the Nazarene (3937 Teays Valley Road, Hurricane, WV 25526). Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to HospiceCare in Dave's memory.
