He was predeceased by: his parents, Chester S. Childers and Leona Bias Childers of Winfield; his wife Glenna Coburn Childers; his daughter Michelle Allen; his great grandchild Addison Michelle Hazlett; and his siblings, Mildred Lowe, Hobert and Virgil Childers.
He is survived by: his children, Stephen (Michelle) of Winfield and Mia Huffman of Hurricane; his grandchildren, Ashley Hazlett (Shannon) of Scott Depot, David and Devin Childers of Winfield; and his great grandchild Grayson Hazlett of Scott Depot.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, July 9th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Judson Baptist Church (1400 Bills Creek Rd, Winfield, WV 25213). A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, July 9th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Judson Baptist Church (72 Addington Pl, Winfield, WV 25213).
