She was predeceased by: her husband Jack; her parents, Herbert Harless and Flossie Harless; and her siblings, Herbert "Chuck" Harless and Joyce Turley.
She is survived by: her daughters, Teresa McCarty (Bill) of Hilton Head, SC and Melissa Sovine (Dave) of Scott Depot, WV; her grandchildren, Amie Wetmore (Chris), Jennifer Copley (Joey), Michael Ryder II and Will McCarty (Annie Grace); and her great grandchildren, McKinley, Charlotte Wetmore, Emma, Logan Copley and Aubrey Katherine McCarty. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 31st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Curry Funeral Home (2097 Childress Rd, Alum Creek, WV 25003). A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 31st 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
