He was predeceased by: his wife Janice Hastings; his daughter Pat Hastings; and his siblings, Phyllis Hill, Maxine Hughey, Patsy Hughes, Judy Buckley, Eva Hastings Meadows and James Hastings.
He is survived by: his children, Anita Callicoat, Jackie Adams (Tim) and Barbie Hastings; his sister Betty Ellis; his brother-in-law Charles "Rick" Lewis (Carole); his grandchildren, Camie Callicoat, Courtney Skaggs (Jason), Katie Ward (John), Haley Russell, Jacob Lett, Kacey Hudnall, Jack Callicoat, Madison Adams, Lucy Adams and Gracie Adams; and his great grandchildren, Bryce Skaggs, Brent Skaggs, Rayna Callicoat, Austin Ward, Gavin Ward, Colt Skaggs, Calianne Skaggs, Ara Ward and Ace Ward.
A reception will be held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Gatens-Harding Funeral Home (147 Main St, Poca, WV 25159). Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
