He was predeceased by : his parents, Lamar Moran Jones and Carrie Bell Fletcher; and his brother Jimmy Jones. He is survived by : his wife Peggy S. Jones; his son Larry L. "Chip" Jones II (Linda Smith-Jones) of Aiken, SC; and his nephews, Mike Cleek of St. Albans and Gene Watson of Rochester, NY. He is also survived by many other nieces and nephews.
