He was predeceased by: his parents, Stephen Hodges and Marguerite Erwin Hodges; his siblings, Lyle Hodges and Reba Sutlovich; and his grandmothers, Bowen, Lillian Hodges, Wilma Hodges Leslie, Jerrel Hodges and Dorsel Hodges.
He is survived by: his wife Karen Thomas Hodges; his sons, Stephen Hodges III (Lorra) of Myrtle Beach, SC and Roger Hodges (Tammy) of Hurricane, WV; his grandchildren, Stephen Hodges IV (Darlene) of Lugoff, SC and Amanda McCallister of Culloden, WV; his great grandchild Connor; and his sister Wanda Gibson. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews; and several other extended family.
Visitation was held on Sunday, October 19th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Chapman Funeral Home (3941 Teays Valley Road, Hurricane, WV 25526). A funeral service was held on Monday, October 20th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
