He was predeceased by : his parents, Robbie Dean Martin and Fred Bennett; his stepmother Mildred Bennett; his brother John Bennett; and his grandson Miles Eli Bennett.

He is survived by : his son Terry Wayne Bennett (Lora); his granddaughters, Michaela Catherine Alt (Daniel) of Petersburg, WV, Madison Haylee Moss (Nick) of Petersburg, WV and Mariah ReAnn Goldizen (Casey) of Petersburg, WV; and his siblings, L. Ricky Bennett (Eileen) of Bear, DE and Loretha Humphrey of Clermont, FL.
