He was predeceased by: his parents, Forrest Hartman and Dessie Hartman (Vance); and his siblings, Herbert Hartman, Robert Hartman, Dorothy Hartman Champ and Reba Hartman Harrer.
He is survived by: his wife Blonda Hartman (Hedrick); his sons, Larry Hartman of Seneca Rocks, WV and David Hartman (Stephanie) of Petersburg, WV; his grandchildren, Courtney, Derek (Christy), Chase (Kassidy) and Kenzi Hartman; and his great grandchildren, Addy, Allie and Kennedy.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 18th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Schaeffer Funeral Home (11 N Main St, Petersburg, WV 26847). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
