He was predeceased by: his parents, George E. Harper and Beula Harper (Ketterman); and his former wife Gail C. Harper (Smith). He is survived by: his daughters, Cindy Kares (Al) of Fairfax, VA, Dottie Johnson of Greene and Karen Hood (Jerry) of Winder, GA; his wife Wilma R. Harper (Aldridge); and his stepchildren, Nicole Cassidy of Warren, OH and Tom Pappas (Denese) of Warren, Ohio. He is also survived by four step grandchildren and five step great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the North Fork Baptist Church or Charity of the Donor's Choice.
