We bid farewell to Jo Ann Watts of Seneca Rocks, West Virginia, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on April 14, 2025 at the age of 83. Jo Ann touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Russell Morral Cooper and Mary Bessie Cooper (Teter); her husband Marlin Lee Watts; and her siblings, Othetta Conrad, Geneva Champ, Ruthle Smith, Virginia Rose Rexrode, Daniel Cooper, Randy Teter and Carl Cooper, Sr..
She is survived by: her children, Rhonda L. Mauzy (Brad), Marlin L., Watts, Jr. (Karen) and Nick J. Watts (Sherry); her grandchildren, Drue Mauzy (Nikita), Kayla Bryant (Justin), Paige Riggleman (Logan), Samantha Evans (Zach) and Keaton Watts; her great grandchildren, Colin Mauzy, Ethan Mauzy, Raelyn Mauzy, Mary Mae Kimble, Jessie Kimble, Ava Bryant and Luna Evans; and her siblings, Catherine George (Junior) of Baltimore, MD, Betty Gordon (Donald) of Circleville, WV, Herbert Cooper (Dorothy) of Baltimore, MD and Fred Cooper (Patricia) of Seneca Rocks, WV. She is also survived by her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Schaeffer Funeral Home (11 N Main St, Petersburg, WV 26847). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Riverside Church.
