He was predeceased by: his parents, Hendron Black and Bessie Jane Black (Davis); his wife Mary Ann Black (Mongold); and his siblings, Ruby Nell Gray (Black), Paul Harding Black and William Worth Black.
He is survived by: his children, Kevin P. Black (Jackie) of Seneca Rocks, WV, Michael K. Black (Davanna) of Gerrardstown, WV and Sheila A. Kisamore (Daniel) of Petersburg, WV; and his grandchildren, Megan (Christian), Courtney, Ryne, Clay, Durham, Chelsea and Jordan. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
