He is survived by: his son Kevin Adkins; his grandchildren, Joshuah, Devin, Michael Adkins and Gerald Bennett; and his stepchildren, Eddie Darrell, Timothy Dasil, Burley Dale, Marvin Wade Mitchem and Debra Anne Terry. He is also survived by four great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Little Bluestone Primitive Baptist Church (5630 Mount View Rd, Jumping Branch, WV 25969). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
