As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Eva Carol may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Burgess Richard Phillips and Eva Blanche Akers Phillips; and her son-in-law David Mitchem. She is survived by: her children, Jesse Lee Pace (Lori) of Shady Spring, Melissa Dawn Lilly of Iron Station, NC, Andrew Howard Pace (Catherine) of Cherryville, NC and Clarissa D. Smith (Donald) of Shady Spring; and her brother Lionel Phillips (Sue) of Grandview. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren, along with many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Crow Baptist Church (1641 Old Crow Rd, Beaver, WV 25813). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
