With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Sandra Bays (Shady Spring, West Virginia), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her parents, Hiawatha James Burnette and Zillian Burnette (Shrewsbury); her husband Neil Bays; and her sister Ruth Ann Motzno. She is survived by: her children, Kenneth Bays (W. Va) of Lewisburg and Lisa Bays (Krissie Weimer) of Greeley, Colo.; her brothers, Howard (Nancy Burnette) and W. Va; her cousins, Pam Jones, Shirley Sumner Needleman, Linda Sumner, Tom Webb, Carl Wood and Steven Wood; her nephew Doug Motzno; and her caregiver Patricia Ratliff of Beaver.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Rose and Quesenberry Funeral Home Shady Spring Chapel (729 Flat Top Rd, Shady Spring, WV 25918). A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
