He was predeceased by: his parents, Jarrett Lupton McDonald and H. Pauline McDonald Powell (Haines); and his brother Jerry McDonald. He is survived by: his wife Karen A. McDonald (Davy); his children, Cindy Combs (Chad) of Augusta, WV, Suzy Nichols (Colby) of Augusta, WV and Clinton P. McDonald of Augusta, WV; his grandchildren, Brooke O'Connell, Chayson Combs, Canyon Nichols, Maysa Nichols and Zeke McDonald; his great grandchild Jeremiah Thomas Moats; and his sisters, Judy Loy of Shanks, WV and Connie Gross of Romney, WV. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
