She was predeceased by: her husband Frank Bailey Grubb; her son Frank Jr.; her parents, Luther Slater and Zona Eskins Slater; and her siblings, Luther Slater Jr., Charles Buford Slater, Donna Massey and Gloria Vest.
She is survived by: her children, Joann King (Roy) of Sharon, Johnna McDaniel (Larry) of Cocoa Beach, FL and Ray Grubb (Linda) of Sharon; and her brothers, Warren "Mick" Slater of St. Albans and Lon "Sed" Slater (Denise) of Montgomery. She is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
