She was predeceased by: her husband John Matherly; her parents, Homer Warden and Bessie Warden; and her siblings, Homer Warden, Henry Peraldo and Martha Hicks.
She is survived by: her daughter Nina Gipson (Becca); her grandson Raiden; her sons, John M. Matherly and Brad Matherly (Becca); her grandson Malachi; her sister-in-law Janet Warden; and her nephews, Alan Warden (Judy) and Robbie Warden. She is also survived by many other nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Hospice of Southern West Virginia or the Elephant Sanctuary of Tennessee in Sharon's memory.
