It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Harry Eugene Darr of Shepherdstown, West Virginia, who passed away on April 14, 2024, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, John Raymond Darr and Abbie Longerbeam Darr; his wife Patricia Ann Darr; his son Samuel Leon Hardy; and his siblings, Leva Frye, Mary Lust, Josephine Matthews and Donald Darr.

He is survived by : his daughter Abbie Darr; his grandson Hunter; his daughter Tammy Getts of Harpers Ferry; his siblings, Betty Fauble, Hazel Carter, Margaret Darr, Patricia Heffner, Nancy Shipe and Claude Raymond "Buss" Darr; his grandson John Armstrong, III; and also Oakley. He is also survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Thursday, April 18th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Eackles-Spencer & Norton Funeral Home (256 Halltown Rd, Harpers Ferry, WV 25425). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 19th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
