The memory of Barbara J. Heldreth of Shinnston, West Virginia, who passed away on April 22, 2024 at the age of 85, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by : her parents, Paul D. Tennant and Emma Zinn Tennant; her husband Jim; her brother Richard P. Tennant of Michigan; and her nephew Timothy Tennant.

She is survived by : her daughter Kimberly Heldreth Strait; her son-in-law Rodney K. Strait of Shinnston; her sister-in-law Carol Tennant of Michigan; and her nieces, Debbie, Diana and Michelle. She is also survived by great-nieces, great-nephews; and several cousins.

Visitation was held on Thursday, April 25th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Harmer Funeral Home (300 Pike St, Shinnston, WV 26431). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 26th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the First United Methodist Church (64 Rebecca St, Shinnston, WV 26431).
