He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy W. Davis and Ardith Davis (Robinson); his wife Mary Davis; and his brothers, Carl Kay and Jay William.
He is survived by: his sons, Kenny (Ladonna) of Shinnston, Ronnie (Tracy) of Shinnston, Garry (Kathy) of Shinnston and Larry (Patty) of Shinnston; his grandchildren, Kayla Mullin (Richie), Kenny Davis (Emily), Hannah Mills, Kristopher Davis (John DaCosta), Allison Owen (Michael), Monica Goodman, Jordan Davis, David Davis and Haley Davis (Aaron Lawson); his great grandchildren, Brody, Sadie Mullin, Everett Mills, Silas Fisher, Lora Grant, Lilah Junkins, Sophia Lynn Sidley, Alexandria Ann Taylor, Taisha, Trinity Gonzalez and Emily Willis; and his niece Diana VanBuren.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in David's honor to the National Parks Service to honor his love of travel, the outdoors, and his country.
