With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary LaFon (Shinnston, West Virginia), who passed away on September 25, 2025 at the age of 69. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Mary leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.
She was predeceased by: her husband William Howard LaFon (Bill). She is survived by: her sons, Jeremy May, J. C. May and Jesse LaFon (Kelly Blinkmann); her grandchildren, Austin LaFon, Isabella LaFon, Zachary May and Avery May; her sister Nealy Nagy (Joe); and her sibling's children, Jeffrey J. Neuffer Jr. (Pam) and Brie Neuffer.
Visitation will be held on Monday, September 29th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Harmer Funeral Home (300 Pike St, Shinnston, WV 26431). A funeral service will be held on Monday, September 29th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
