We announce the death of Rebekah Suzanne Watson (Shinnston, West Virginia), who passed away on October 3, 2026, at the age of 46. Rebekah will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her friend Ed Livingston; her father-in-law Darwin Watson; and her grandparents, Robert, Betty Nay Bice, Paul and Betty Hudkins Tonkery.
She is survived by: her parents, Howard Donald and Paula Suzanne Tonkery (Bice); her friends, Trish Moore and Acacia Higginbotham; her husband Travis Watson; her children, Rylan Ayden Kerns and Ashlynn Marie Watson; her mother-in-law Penny Watson; her siblings, Angie Tonkery Fowler (Craig), Jennifer Tonkery, Amanda Tonkery and Aaron Tonkery (Shari); her brother-in-law Dusty Watson (Amanda Oliverio); her niece Kelsee Crowl (Chris); her great-niece Nora Crowl; her nieces and nephews, Bentley Tonkery, Paxton Tonkery, Brooklynn Watson and Daxton Watson; her uncles, Danny (Karen Bice Drain), Robert (Beth Bice) and Bill (Karen Morgan); and her aunt Kay Tonkery.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Harmer Funeral Home (300 Pike St, Shinnston, WV 26431). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
