He was predeceased by: his son David Wayne Costelac; and his brothers, Lawrence G. Costelac, John K. Costelac and Ronald Costelac. He is survived by: his wife Patricia J. Costelac (Alessio); his son Robert Costelac, Jr. (Tanya R. Costelac); his grandsons, Thomas W. Frankenberry, Evan M. Frankenberry and Samuel A. Frankenberry; and his sister-in-law Arlene Costelac. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
