He was predeceased by : his mother JoAn Harbert Lycans; his sons, Heath Lycans and Steve Lycans; and his brother Jeff Lycans. He is survived by : his close friend Peggy Moyers; his son Kenny (Laura) of Jackson Springs, NC; his siblings, Martha Logsdon of Lumberport, Amy Lycans of Lumberport and Terry Lycans (Linda) of Lumberport; and his grandchildren, Jessica Young of Ellerby, NC, Mya Lycans and Mayson Escobar of Carthage, NC. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
