It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of William Earl Hayhurst (Shinnston, West Virginia), who passed away on July 30, 2025, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Earl and Otie Rohm Hayhurst; his grandparents, Orval, Brooksie Parks Hayhurst, William and Dessie Rohm; and his siblings-in-law, Lurella Maxey, Tom Wagner, Bill Robey and Robert Maxey.
He is survived by: his wife Winona Navonda Harbert Hayhurst; his children, Tabatha Hayhurst-Keith (Mathew) and Adrian Hayhurst (Marcie); his sisters, Lenita Wagner, Janice Wilson (Allen) and Rita Komer (Peter); and his siblings-in-law, Carol Robey, Darlene Goff (Gene) and Ricky Harbert. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 3rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Harmer Funeral Home (300 Pike St, Shinnston, WV 26431). A funeral service will be held on Monday, August 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
