He was predeceased by : his son Kenneth Wayne Johnston; his parents, Charles E. Johnston and Carrie Jane Clemons Johnston; and his siblings, Beulah Jones, June Caldwell and Homer.
He is survived by : his wife Shirley Meadows Johnston of Bozoo, WV.; his son James Arlie Johnston (Charmaine); his daughter-in-law Telia Holt Johnston; and his brother Earnest (Bonnie).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made in Arlie's name to the Peterstown United Methodist Church Food Pantry (P.O. Box 423, Peterstown, WV 24963).
