He is survived by: his wife Shirley Baird (Hoyt); his children, Christi Bootz (Jason) of Wheeling, WV, David Baird (Brenda) of King George, VA, Brian Baird of Newport News, VA and Sarah Baird of Brooklyn, NY; and his brothers, Jeffrey Baird and David Baird (Kari). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
