With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Galen Eugene Markley of Short Gap, West Virginia, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Fletcher Markley and Margaret Markley (Blackburn); his nephew Timmy Peach; and his niece April Peach Willetts. He is survived by: his wife Norma Markley (Smiley); his children, Krista Jones (Tim), Lilly of Fort Ashby, WV and Johnny Markley (Kaetie); his grandchildren, Taylor, Jordynn and Cannan of Fort Ashby, WV; his siblings, Judi Markley Haag (Harry) of Ocean City, MD and Jon Linburn Markley (Linda Nesselrodt Markley) of Short Gap, WV; and his nieces and nephews, Brett Smiley, Aaron Lazarus, Adam Lazarus, Jeff Smiley, Candi McNamara, Misty Lindsey and Niki McDonald.
