He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernon Sigmon and Delsia Huffman; and his siblings, Mazie, Patsy, Linda, Peggy and Gerald.

He is survived by: his siblings, John, Vernon Jr., Rena and Marilyn; and his children, Shari (Timmy), Rhonda (Roland), Darell (Lorie) and Kelly (Tina). He is also survived by nine grandkids and 14 great grandchildren.
