He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Speed and Carolyn Sue Thacker. He is survived by: his wife Sharon Thacker; and his siblings, Ronald (Carol) of Wayne and Elizabeth of Erb. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at 1:00 PM.
