It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roberta Marie Burdette of Sissonville, West Virginia, who passed away on July 7, 2025, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Donald Casto and Cuma Casto; her husband Richard Burdette; her son Donald Patterson; and her granddaughter Carrie Harper.
She is survived by: her daughters, Helen Fields and Robin Carpenter (Roger); her grandchildren, Roger Carpenter (Amy), Jeremy Patterson (Kista), Amanda Legg (Eric) and Joshua Patterson; her sisters, Nola Hart (Ronnie) and Barbara Taylor (Robert); her niece Sherry Walker; her great-niece Lindsay Walker; and her close friend Ruth Haynes.
Visitation was held on Thursday, July 10th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Keller Funeral Home (1236 Myers Ave, Dunbar, WV 25064). A funeral service was held on Thursday, July 10th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, July 10th 2025 at the New Prospect Baptist Church Cemetery.
