It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edna Johnson of Sistersville, West Virginia, who passed away on August 3, 2025, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Edna may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.

She was predeceased by: her parents, James Howard Gorrell and Garnet Bowen Gorrell; and her brother Timothy Gorrell. She is survived by: her husband Dana Johnson of Sistersville, WV; her children, Jeremy Johnson of Friendly, WV and Sarah Johnson (Marie) of Parkersburg, WV; her grandchildren, Miya Johnson and Marcus Johnson; and her brother James Gorrell. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
