He is survived by: his wife Tammy Ball Smith; his children, Robert Smith of Youngstown, OH, Samuel Smith (Shawna Richeson) of Sistersville, WV, Julia Smith Oliver of Youngstown, OH and Tiffany Hall (Isaac) of Sardis, OH; his stepchildren, Jessica Thompson (James) of Crestview, FL and Justin Carpenter (Jessica) of Belmont, WV; his granddaughter Alexis Damron (Matt) of Ashland, KY; and his brother David Smith of Hamden, OH. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
