He is survived by: his wife Josephine Costanzo Day of Skygusty; his sons, Robert J. Day (Michelle Clark Day) of Summerville, SC and Daniel D. Day (Teresa Rose Day) of Cleveland, NC; his brother Ernest Day (Brenda) of Bean Station, TN; his grandchildren, Kevin Kroll (Melanie) of Blueridge, VA, Thomas Day, Chandler Ingle of Summerville, SC, Daniel D. Day, Jr. and Sarah Day of Cleveland, NC; his great grandchildren, Cayden Kroll, Christian Day and Peyton Day; and his stepgreat-granddaughters, Alyssa and Haley Wash.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home (3431 Coal Heritage Rd, Bluefield, WV 24701). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
