It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Steven Bender of Slanesville, West Virginia, born in Winchester, Virginia, who passed away on October 1, 2023, at the age of 55, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Alvin "Ray" Bender and Gladys Bender. He is survived by : his wife Angela Y. Bender; his children, Lindsey Taylor (Andrew) of Slanesville, WV, Chandler Bender of Slanesville, WV and Trinity Bender of Slanesville, WV; his grandchildren, Bella and Mykah Taylor; his sister Cathy Baker (Roger); his brother-in-law Matt (Jodi); his in-laws, Wayne and Bonnie Stotler; his siblings-in-law, Andy (Mandy), Levi (Darr) and Nicole (Brent); and also Gladys Bender. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
