Ethel L. Miller Obituary
We announce the death of Ethel L. Miller (Sod, West Virginia), who passed away on October 1, 2026. Ethel will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her grandson Jason Roberts; her parents, Oscar Thomas and JoAnn Thomas (Armstrong) of McCorkle Rd; her siblings, Madeline Roberts (James), Lorraine Smith-Jones (Paul), Lowell "Jim" Thomas (Sharon), Evelyn Ball (Eugene), Ella Hensley (John) and Barbara McCallister (David); her grandchildren, Chris, Jessica, Casey, Kassie, Heather, Justin, Becca (Mason), Brandon, Brittany (Mackenleigh) and Cora; and her uncle Bill (Diane). She was also cherished by her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 at 6:30 PM at the McCorkle Free Will Baptist Church (175 McCorkle Rd, Sod, WV 25564).
In lieu of flowers, mementos or gifts can be sent to the church or to Curry Funeral Home.
