He was predeceased by: his parents, Marvin Bevins and Dora Bevins; and his siblings, Buck, Jimmy, Charles, Jean Vanscoy and Fern Gwinn.
He is survived by: his significant other Martha Aileen Bevins; his daughter Leah Gwinn (Jeff) of Beckley; his granddaughter Savannah Wright (Hunter) of Bolt; his sisters, Doris DiSante of Wichita, KS and Betty Johnson of Dallas, TX; and his brother-in-law Bruce.
In lieu of flowers, the family encourages "Give in Memory" and "Give in Honor" donations to the American Heart Association to further research on heart disease and support affected families.
