She was predeceased by: her parents, Tim Cox and Bessie Cox; her husband Edgar Cook Jr.; and her siblings, Janice, Silas, Albert and Edgar.
She is survived by: her siblings, Myrtle Cook, Sue Whitt and Paul Cox; her daughters, Debra Hughes (Lewis), Tammy Frey (Bill), Sharon Adkins (Roger) and Brenda Lester; her grandchildren, Kim, Carla, Lewis, Brandi, Casey, Caitlyn, Tony, Sandy and Kevin; her great grandchildren, Kaileigh, Ronnie, Bill, Alicia, Braxton, Kenzie, Lexi, Ember, Nathaniel, Matthew, Cheyanne, Charlie, Kevin Jr., Chelsea, Adam, Leslie, Michael, Trinity, Isiah and Gabriel; and her great great grandchildren, Logan, Parker, Shelby, Skylar, Josie, Stacy, Tyler and Caspian. She is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
A funeral service was held on Friday, November 28th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Blue Ridge Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens (5251 Robert C Byrd Dr, Beckley, WV 25801).
