He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Tate, Jr. and Mary Josephen Tate (Ashton); his son Frankie Tate; and his stepdaughter Courtney Cottrill. He is survived by: his wife Tammie Tate of Spelter; his children, Mickey Tate (Gina) of Shinnston and Christie Broadwater (Rusty) of Lumberport; his stepdaughters, Nikki Cottrill of Spelter and Katie Cottrill (Travis McIntyre) of Spelter; his grandchildren, Anthony, Sofia, Nicholas Tate of Shinnston, Clayton Broadwater (Cara) of Morgantown, Kaylyn Wiseman (Kyle) of Lumberport, Kenzie Cottrill of Clarksburg, Gage Cottrill, Paris and Majesty; his great grandchildren, Grayson Shingleton and Lyla Broadwater; his sisters, Bonnie Menendez of Hepzibah and Nancy Tate; his brother-in-law Rod Glotfelty of Meadowbrook; his sister Shirley Elbon (Phil) of Hepzibah; his cousins, Tony Blidgett, Butch Tate and Rocky Tate; Promyse Pearson of Spelter. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
