He was predeceased by: his mother Helen Greathouse Haddox; and his wife Judith "Judy" Hayes. He is survived by: his children, Tina (Mike Varney) and Wayne Hayes (Kimberly Miller); his grandsons, Cayden Hayes and Dylan Hayes; his stepgrandson Jonathan Miller; and his sister Susan (Joe Landis). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
