It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Douglas Metz of Spencer, West Virginia, born in Barberton, Ohio, who passed away on April 7, 2022, at the age of 51, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his brother Jeremiah Metz; his grandparents, Marjorie, Orville Walker, Thelma and Emmett Elrod; his uncles, William and Robert Wright; his aunt Dareth Harris; and his cousin Allison Carpenter.

He is survived by : his parents, Douglas Eugene and Terrie Lynn Murdock Metz; his wife Elizabeth Metz of Spencer; and his cousins, Keith, Jennifer, Kylie Miller of Fremont, Alisa Miller of Kansas, Amanda Carpenter of Spencer, Amber Stutler of Spencer, John of Spencer and Kaitlyn Stutler of Spencer.
