With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Loretta White of Spencer, West Virginia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 8, 2026 at the age of 82. She was predeceased by: her parents, Oral Taylor and Goldie Moore Taylor; her siblings, Reva Harper and Oral Taylor; and her great grandchild Payton Leach.
She is survived by: her husband David White, Sr. of Spencer; her children, David White, Jr. (Anita) of Walton, Robin Shafer (Jerry) of Sissonville and Tracey Leach (Jesse) of Spencer; her grandchildren, Jay Shafer (Tonya) of Whitesville, David White, III of Walton, Josh White (Mandy) of Walton, Alisha Conley (Richard) of Spencer, Amanda Elmore of Spencer, Shane Shafer (Chassitty) of Sissonville, Derek Leach (April) of Spencer and Heather Queen (Matt) of Clendenin; and her sister Mary. She is also survived by 20 great grandchildren; 10 great great grandchildren.
