It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roger Harper of Spencer, West Virginia, who passed away on January 14, 2023, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Arnie E. Harper and Lillie M. Parsons Harper; and his siblings, Leona Parsons, Bell Shouldis, Hazel Cox and Freddie Harper.

He is survived by : his children, James Wesley Harper (Mai) of Hampton, Dana Lea Nitz (Aaron) of Salem and Misty Jane Bailey (Stewart) of Parkersburg; his grandchildren, Aicha Harper, Jasmine Harper, Sarah Nitz, Andrew Nitz, Richard Bailey, III and Alexis Bailey; and his siblings, Carol Halstead (Lewis) of Gandeeville, Rev. Oris Harper (Johnnie) of Gandeeville and Leonard Harper (Lisa) of Spencer.
