He was predeceased by: his parents, Steve Boggs and Ethel Price Boggs; and his brothers, Mont Ray Boggs and Rickey Boggs. He is survived by: his fiancée Nancy Price of Spencer; his children, Shelly Deeter of Parkersburg, Amanda Dutton of St. Mary's, Holly Lloyd of Reedy and Ivy Lloyd of Reedy; his stepchildren, Wilbur, Amanda Price, Raymond, Valene Price, Melissa Price (Dave Nichols) and Tiffany Price (Mike Blake); and his siblings, Paul Boggs of Spencer, Richard Boggs of Spencer, Loretta Hall of Spencer, Lisa Hall of Spencer, Shelva Boggs of Spencer, Juanita Harry of Virginia, Bobbi Jo Starcher of Spencer and Crystal Burdette of Spencer. He is also survived by six step grandchildren; one step great grandchild.
