He was predeceased by : his parents, Willie Hughes and Mary Runnion Hughes; his wife Lilly Hughes; and his siblings, Dorothy, Dorie, Icie, Carolyn, Emmie, Buster, Dick, Albert, Rex and Charles.
He is survived by : his daughters, Patricia K. Hughes (James Nichols) and Breanne Hughes (Jared Hernandez) of Spencer; his stepchildren, Jeff Benear (Margie) of Clay, Richard West of Barnsville, Ohio and Nancy Price (Mike Boggs) of Spencer; his sister Alice Jett of Big Pigeon; his grandchildren, Melissa Price, Davie Nichols, Wilbur, Amanda Price, Raymond, Valene Price, Cody Ivey, Ashley, Shawn Nichols, Jonathan Benear and Nathan Benear; and his great grandchildren, Shawn Robert, Jr., Elsa Nichols, Bentley Nichols, MacKenzie Nichols, Tiffany Price, Nevaeh Price, Ramond Patrick Price, Michael Price, Rayanna Price, Payton Price and Jayce Price. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
