Effie leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Effie’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around her. Though she is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support she offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Effie will carry forward her memory in their hearts.

She was predeceased by: her parent Jerry; her husband Harless "Junior" Adkins; her son Ricky D. Adkins; and her brothers, Larry and Tracy Cooper.

She is survived by: her children, Carloyn Amick, Donna Meadows (Gary) and Harless E. Adkins; and her close friend Jimmy Holcomb. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests a donation be made in Effie's memory to either the American Red Cross or Saint Jude Children's Hospital.
